What We Publish

The Auguro publishes long-form essays, reported features, data-driven analysis, criticism, and fiction. We are particularly interested in work that applies the foresight journalism framework: identifying signals, interpreting trends, assigning probabilities, and pointing readers toward what to watch.

Pitch Guidelines

• Email pitches to pitches@theauguro.com
• Include a 2–3 paragraph pitch describing the piece, its argument, and why now
• Include 2–3 clips of relevant published work
• We respond to pitches within 10 business days; if you haven't heard back, the pitch was not accepted
• We do not accept previously published work or simultaneous submissions

Rates

We pay competitive rates for commissioned work. Rates vary by length, format, and reporting complexity. We discuss rates at the commissioning stage.
